“Minha Autoria” Project was conceived after a long period of dedication and services provided by its professionals within collective management of copyrights, acting, more specifically, along with the main collecting associations in the Country and ECAD.

After years of experience and daily collaboration with bearers of musical copyrights, following the routines of documenting, collecting, processing and distributing rights, we identified the lack of information, the complexity of the system in the authorial universe and the difficulties the musicians are facing in order to receive full financial compensation, as a consequence of the economical exploration of their intellectual collections (Works, Phonograms and Cue-Sheets).
The goal of Minha Autoria consists of transmitting to the bearers of music, security, clarity and certainty in the conduction of their interests.
Our service is based upon the supervision in regards to the application of the legal and administrative criteria in force in Brazil and abroad, about the theme of copyright, in order to provide to our clients maximization of the results obtained through the use of their repertories.
Current scenario
The Brazilian musical market lives a process of constant changes and discoveries.
The new genres of usage and consumption of music made possible the creation of new business models, in which the entertainment through music is presented as a central piece, that entails the payment of copyrights to the creators due to the use of their creations, paying authors, interpreters, musicians, editors and phonogram producers that now depend on the follow-up, protection, representation and defense of their interests. In this way, the artist can focus exclusively on his creative craft, fostering even more his musical collection and culture.
The Proposal
To represent the artistic class (authors, interpreters, musicians, editors and phonograph producers) in the many aspects of copyrights, developing a management specialized in the musical field, offering the necessary mechanisms to the good and proficient progress of their art, furthermore enjoying the benefits not yet identified.
This way, the artist can focus exclusively on his creative craft, fostering even more his musical collection and culture.
Right to Public Execution
The right originated from the public communication of musical and audiovisual works. This right is collected and distributed by ECAD – Central Office of Collection and Distribution.
- Representation before ECAD and its collecting associations.
- Verification, identification and documentation of works (statement of repertoire – Sheet158), phonograms (issuing of isrc’s) and Audiovisuals (cue-sheet) in the databases of the respective entities.
- Follow-up and requests of release of retained credits.
- Analysis and requisition of adjustments of credits not received by the bearer.
Digital Right
It is a form of right generated by the commercialization and distribution of the collection in a virtual environment, in its most diverse variations.
- Distribution of the contents to every digital store (iTunes, Google, Play, Deezer, Spotify, Rdio, among others)
- Monetization of Channels on YouTube
- Distribution of contents for sale on Mobile (Vivo, Tim, Claro and Oi)
- Distribution of the rights to the respective bearers
Right to Synchronization
It is the right originated from the convergence between audio and visual, that generates to the musical creators the possibility of receiving financial retribution for the part they are entitled as a consequence of the use of their creation.
- Negotiation and Issuing of the authorization to sync along with agencies of propaganda and television transmitters

Phonomechanical Right
It’s the right the composers are entitle for the fixation/recording of their works and the subsequent insertion in a digital media (CD, DVD, Blue-Ray) and later sales of their products.
